I was really curious about science-related things when I was a child. Since I was 6 years old, I always wanted to open electronic gadgets to know what's inside them. I was considered a good student by society when I was a child. But everything changed after the 10th class when I discovered the truth. That's when I became my true self.
When I was a child, I remember having a dog that I loved a lot. It had puppies, and I loved those puppies too. That dog was my best friend. But one day, it died; to be frank, someone killed it. I felt so sad. I love pets, especially dogs, but my mom doesn't like them because they make a mess at home. We have a really small, old house that leaks during the rain.
Until I was 10 years old, my mom and I lived in an old house that leaked a lot. Whenever it rained, my mom and I would prepare pots to catch the water from the roof.
I studied in a government school next to my house in my village until the 7th class (until I was 12 years old). I was one of the smartest students in my school. I did everything on time and played cricket as well, which was the game I played most in my life. The second game is PUBG :).
I didn't use a mobile phone until I was 17 years old because we didn't have a TV at home. So, I went to my friends' houses to watch TV, mainly Lakshmipathi's and Hanumanth's homes. At Hanumanth's home, we had to pay him with marbles to watch TV - 2 marbles for 1 hour. But we could only watch what he wanted to watch.
Luckily, when I went to Lakshmipathi's home (who is 5 years older than me), he didn't ask for anything to watch TV, so I could watch any program I wanted. Generally, I watched NGC (National Geographic Channel), Discovery, History TV18, or some cartoons like Penguins of Madagascar or Avatar: The Last Airbender. I started watching Hollywood movies when I was 12 years old, and they had a really big impact on my life.
Murugesh is my friend, and I only had a few friends. He doesn't study properly, but he is always happy. He finds happiness in small things. Whenever he gets an electronic device, he gives it to me.
My father had a small shop in my village, but he didn't allow me or my sister to eat anything for free. My grandfather would bring us snacks every day. Among those snacks, he mostly gave us buns (1 rupee/0.01$ per bun). At that age, that was a really good snack for me and my sister. Sometimes, I argued that my grandfather gave one extra bun to my sister.
During my childhood, I mostly spent holidays in my mom's village, which is next to my village. But after the 10th class, I didn't like going to that village. My mom's father was an astrologer, and I am a science lover. I found that my mom is not smart because of her father, and that's when I started hating my mom's family because they have caste, religion, gender, and color discriminations. I didn't like that, so I started staying away from them.
When I was a boy, I saw my parents fighting every day, and that's why I am against marriage.
I started earning my first money as a paperboy. I will discuss that in next blog.
